Multi-Adventure in the Manso

Rafting, trekking and horse riding in the heart of the Andes. An ideal circuit for Corporate Groups doing integration work or incentive trips. No special skills are required, just be prepared for an ACTIVE day.

A whole day of Multi-Adventure that will take place entirely in the Manso River, with an operations base at the John Family’s Ranch. More than sixty years of work are reflected in this typical Patagonian estancia, surrounded by an impressive view of Mt. Bastión. All the proposed activities start there:

Rafting:

Time in the river: 1.30 hour

On the banks of the river, we put on our wet suits and after the safety talk by the head-guide, we are ready to descend the final section of the Manso River in Argentina. In the first part, the quietness of the river allows us to appreciate the environment, enjoy the white sand beaches and watch the waterfalls that splash into the river. Then, the Manso gets more impetuous. Through narrow canyons surrounded by lush vegetation, we will run the following rapids: Swinging-bridge, The First One, Velvet Box, Ozone Hole…

Horse riding and Trekking:

Duration of each of the activities: 1 hour

Horse riding starts at the ranch house. There, on the south bank, extensive undulating meadows dominate the landscape. There are mallines (wetlands) among small maitén and radal woods. We wade across the Manso River on horseback. After crossing the river, we dismount and set off Trekking. As we walk along the coihue forest, we gain height, while skirting the impressive Mt. Bastión, from where we have magnificent views of the Lower Manso valley. We conclude our hike at “La Pasarela”, a swinging bridge over the Manso River, and return to the ranch house for lunch.

To complement these services, the following amenities are available:

This proposal includes a complete and exquisite catering service (breakfast, lunch with fine wines and afternoon tea) and transfer from lodging.
